  • ~10,000 BE: Oldest records in Osian libraries begin.
  • ~6,000 BE: Munhei raised in worship of the dragon Ashadalaron.
  • ~5,500 BE: Elven refugees abound in Os. Civil unrest grows.
  • ~5,000 BE: Munhei and dragon cultists cast down by followers of Nerull.
  • 4,400 BE: Wizards of Ys grow in power.
  • 4,300 BE: Fishing village (where Denar of Many Names now stands) makes large ships and comes into contact with Shen and Os. Grows exponentially from trade and names itself Raudid.
  • 3,985 BE: Pirates from Norb invade Raudid, slaughter the population and torch the city.
  • 3,980 BE: Refugees from Raudid come back with barbarians from the mountains and rebuild, calling the new town Bauria.
  • 3,978 BE: Norbian pirates return; Bauria is torched.
  • 3,968 BE: Refugees from Bauria rebuild with more barbarians and some halflings from the plains to the southwest. They request protection from Fadinhas and name the town Bauriatou.
  • 3,950 BE: Norbian pirates return, slip past the Fadinhas nautical defenses, and torch Bauriatou. The elves catch them on their way back out of the bay and destroy the pirates.
  • 3,936 BE: In a great act of peace, the Fadinhas wizardress Shenindoa brings together her daughters and the greatest archmages of Os to form the Falls. This notably enabled trade between the northern cities and Panbek and protected Denar of Many Names from attack from all but the elves.
  • 3,910 BE: Refugees from Bauriatou and their children rebuild with the help of lizardfolk from the swamp to the east of the bay. They name the town Denar. It becomes a town of ill repute.
  • 3,384 BE: Schism between the Council (elven leaders) and the elven warlords who defend Fadinhas. Council exiled and live in the mountains to the southeast of Fadinhas.
  • 3,300 BE: Council and followers form Shen and declare pacifism.
  • 3,100 BE: Drow from Underdark take residence under the hills of Shen.
  • 3,023 BE: After repeated incursions by the Drow, citizens of Shen overthrow the Council and declare marshal law.
  • 2,800 BE: Panbek chisels out a pass to the north, the Karkiss Pass.
  • 2,750 BE: Warriors from Denar invade Panbek with limited success.
  • 2,700 BE: The Karhold is built and maintains a constant garrison. Invasions through the Karkiss Pass are all repelled for the next 3,000 years.
  • 2,500 BE: The Forest of Orn is closed off from outsiders. No one who goes in comes out.
  • 2,400 BE: Shen pirates torch Denar. It is uninhabited for 200 years, thereafter becoming the Denar of today.
  • 2,000 BE: Former barbarians from the Kor Plains, slaves from Ys, and entreprenuers from Heas settle the region south of the plains.
  • 1,500 BE: Amid the turmoil of the region, the farming communities of A, Flow, and Reu form and remain relatively docile.
  • 1,032 BE: Ys explodes. The Ys peninsula fractures. No one knows why.
  • 800 BE: The three northern rivers are settled by lizardfolk.
  • 600 BE: War between the nomads of Mereen and the lizard people of Gs. Rumors that it started because of the infidelity of the monarchies.
  • 20 BE: The Great Gate enlarges and is discovered by devils. The Material Plane is invaded and all creatures are assaulted. Denar is captured and enslaved. The War of the Gate begins.
  • 0 AE: The orcish wizard Content Not Found: tar-valon uses the might of the Ys artifact, Granrock’s Seal, to ward the Great Gate against further intrusion, though passage to the Outlands is still possible. The Black Isle is raised to hold the portal, with the Seal permanently fixed inside of it. Tar Valon dies from the stress.
  • 5 AE: With no further supplies and reinforcements from the Outer Planes, the devils lose ground and eventually are scattered.
  • 10 AE: Most of the devils are wiped from the land, though the newly freed Denar has many unusual children afterward.
  • 100 AE: The city Tar Valon is erected in the great wizard’s memory, and standing at the center is Tar Valon’s Dagger, a tower devoted to magical study for all races.
  • 240 AE: Oakhurst founded. Becomes a major exporter that changes its export periodically when the previous becomes less valuable.
  • 350 AE: The magical levels around Old Ys finally come down to from a lethal level and exploration of the ancient city begins. New Ys is founded.
  • 361 AE: The canal between War and Peace is completed, allowing trade between Denar and Heas to the east.
  • 693 AE: Goblins from the nearby mountains take up residence in the Ruined Citadel.
  • 758 AE: A group of adventurers meet in an inn in Oakhurst for a missing person report…
